Please read these terms carefully. By accessing or using this website you agree to be bound by them.

1. Who we are

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Duty First Mortgages Pty Ltd ABN 47 682 598 803, Credit Representative Number 564786, authorised under Australian Credit Licence 486112 held by Purple Circle Financial Services Pty Ltd. We are a veteran-owned mortgage broking business, Queensland-based, lending Australia-wide.

These terms apply to your use of this website, dfmortgages.com.au. If you engage us for credit assistance, that engagement is covered by separate documents we give you at the time, including our Credit Guide.

2. General information only

The information on this website is general in nature. It has been prepared without taking into account your objectives, financial situation or needs, and it is not personal advice. Before acting on anything you read here, consider whether it is appropriate for your circumstances and seek advice suited to your situation. If you would like help that actually takes your circumstances into account, get in touch and we can provide credit assistance tailored to you.

No responsibility is taken for people acting solely on the information on this site. If you do so, you do so at your own risk.

3. No offer of credit

Nothing on this website is an offer of credit, a loan approval, or a commitment to lend. All loan applications are subject to the relevant lender's credit assessment and approval criteria, and fees, charges and eligibility conditions apply to all loan products. We act as a credit representative providing credit assistance; we are not the lender.

4. Calculators and assumptions

The calculators available on this site are designed to give you examples of different financial scenarios, based on stated assumptions and the figures you enter. They are generic calculators, and their results are estimates only, intended to help you explore ideas, not to be relied on for any practical purpose or used as a substitute for professional advice.

  • The assumptions behind each calculator are shown on that calculator's page, and you can change them to see how they affect the result.
  • Results are not a quote, a loan offer, a recommendation, or an indication that you qualify for any product. Interest rates used are ones you enter yourself and may not reflect rates actually available to you.
  • The calculators run entirely in your browser. The figures you enter are not stored by us and are not sent to our server or any third party.

While we have based the calculators on sources and methods we believe are reliable and accurate, your actual outcomes will depend on a range of factors outside our control, including lender assessment policies. You should not rely on these calculators when making borrowing or financing decisions. Instead, consider getting credit assistance from us or advice from a professional adviser who can take your full circumstances into account.
