Our story
From the Defence Force to your front door
Duty First Mortgages was started by an Australian Defence Force veteran with a passion for finance, property and helping people get ahead. After years of investing in property ourselves, we saw how confusing and stressful borrowing could be, and decided to do something about it.
The name comes straight from service life. Duty first means the mission and the people come before everything else. In broking, that looks like turning up prepared, doing the job properly and putting your interests ahead of our own, on every loan, every time.
Our mission is to make borrowing money easy, understandable and stress-free, so the process feels less like paperwork and more like progress. We want every client to walk away with clarity, confidence and a loan that genuinely fits their life.
